Can you believe he’s out there in the backyard in a swing, just a swingin’?

Ok…take that to the tune of John Anderson’s “Swingin’” and you will get what I’m trying to toss out there.

For his birthday, Jace and I got Cohen a swing set. We’ve been working hard the past few evenings to get it put together for our little man.

One night while we were working on it, it got really late, but we didn’t want to stop, so we hauled Cohen’s chair outside and fed him dinner while we just kept working. Another day we turned on the sprinkler and just let him play, while we worked. Tonight, he finally got to try out his new swing set. He really didn’t know what to think of it until we finally got the slide and swings attached to it…now it’s all he wants to do!

Jace's favorite thing about putting together this swing set was all the help he got from me and Cohen!

Finally getting to try it out for the first time!

Of course, it is the parents' responsibility to make sure everything is safe, right?

Cohen's first time up he got help from Daddy.

The second time, he needed no help.

After all that sliding, we moved on to the swings...

I know he loves his new swing set, because when I told him it was time to go inside to eat, he threw a huge fit! He'd rather swing than eat? Who are you?

After we were done eating, some of our most favorite people in the world came over for a visit. What a special treat!

Stella colored a picture of a dad (this is the one from the library that Cohen refused to color for Jace for father's day. Thank goodness Stella came over to help with it!)

I love to watch kids play together (or whatever you may call this). Here is Stella, minding her own business, cooking some delicious food for us.

Then, along come Cohen....

...and Molly...

...then there goes all Stella's food.

I love pictures like this...the ones where I have no idea what is going on. I can think of a million different captions for this, but it appears that Missy or Jace is just to the left of the camera, and Aaron and Stella are very interested in whatever she/he's passing out. Molly must have just got a dose of what's being passed out and is super excited, poor Cohen got too much of whatever is being given away and he's passed out on the couch. Leave you comments for your own caption to this picture!

This one is for Stella's dad, Damon. Your girl is grilling a tiger!

And the last thing we did was get a group shot of all the kids! They were all so much fun to have over and I can't wait for them to come play again!!
