Is that a pumpkin patch?

Last week, Cohen's school visited a pumpkin patch. Ok, so it wasn't a real pumpkin patch. The 1 and 2 year old classes actually had the patch come to them. And then it rained the day before we were supposed to do the pumpkin patch, so they moved it all indoors. It was a sight to see....all those poor unsuspecting pumpkins lying around the church fellowship hall.

The 1 year old class went first, and this was just pure maddness. The pumpkins were rolling around everywhere. None of the kids could actually hold the pumpkin without help, so they kept dropping them. Oh it was a mess.

Then came the 2 year old class. A few of these kids could actually get the pumpkin a few inches off the ground, so the mess only got worse. Those pumpkins never stood a chance.

In this picture, I'm going to say that Cohen and Stella are helping each other pick up the pumpkin (not trying to take that nice pumpkin away from each other....because if they were doing that, I would have put down my camera and helped break up the fight, right?).

Here is Cohen with his teacher, Mrs. Katie. Cohen loves Mrs. Katie! He did not love the camera at this moment.

And of course, the group shot. It took a few tries, but we managed to get most of them in the picture.

Cohen was so happy to have found a pumpkin.

After that long day of hunting for pumpkins, Cohen got to have his friend Stella come play for a little while. I couldn't resist the urge to take a few pictures of them with their pumpkins.

Of course they wouldn't look at the camera at the same time, but we got some really cute shots of each of them individually.
