We started off with a lion puzzle.
We did some ladybug math with Coke tops. Cohen drew a card, counted the objects on the card, and had to put the same number of "dots" on his ladybug.
He also drew a ladybug. Mine is on the bottom, Cohen's is on top. Looks pretty good, hu?
Then we moved on to learning about the Letter Carrier (or Mail Lady). Cohen and I visited our local post office. I needed to pick up some Christmas stamps for our Christmas card, and used this everyday chore as a learning experience. (And from Cohen's pose, there may be a huge monster coming out of the sky to attach him....or maybe it's really sunny).
After we left the post office, we came home and did some mail or color sorting.
Then we did name sorting.
The last thing we did that week was mail a letter. We discussed mailbox safety (which is what Cohen is practicing in the first shot), and when to raise the red flag. It was a lot of fun!
